The opening of our exhibition "Hors Sec" at Espace Enchanté took place last Saturday, in commemoration of World Water Day. Approximately 50 people took part in various highlights of the afternoon.
IRHA presented a photo exhibition consisting of 9 shots and testimonials from different continents, showcasing rainwater as a free and universal resource, usable in everyday life.
A playful expression space around a large cloud was also offered by IRHA, where everyone could share their memories related to rainwater, aiming to change our perception of this precious resource for nature.
The audience could participate in various creative workshops on the theme of rainwater: creating animated cards, illustrating tales, meditative walks along the water, watercolor on themes of drought and flooding, Japanese Tataki zomé technique, as well as a sensitive tour of the exhibition by Global Water Dances-Geneva.
The artists from the Bermuda workshop presented their exhibition "HORS-SEC," an installation composed of three pieces and a performance, combining a practical approach to rainwater with mythical narratives.
It was thus an afternoon rich in discoveries, which sparked a desire among participants to engage more in the defense of this essential resource!
